Electric bicycles (e-bikes) and scooters (e-scooters) provide mobility options and enable longer-distance transportation by bicycle. But questions remain about their safety, especially related to their speed, electrical systems, and their operation alongside motor vehicle traffic. Panelists will share information about the role of these electric devices in the transportation system and offer inspiration to communities who are interested in planning for and promoting their use.
